Fantastic hotel for family ski trip in a great intermediate resort

Fantastic hotel a little out of the main town but well served by a continuous (free) shuttle bus service throughout the day. The hotel is large and communal areas got pretty busy at peak times during school holiday week but there was a relaxed feeling throughout and the rooms are very comfortable with good facilities such as a fridge, kettle and coffee machine. The hotel gym, spa and pool are all excellent - good equipment and high standard facilities. Excellent massage treatments available. Extensive buffet available for breakfast, dinner and a post ski afternoon tea - delicious and plentiful food of many different types - Italian, sushi etc. Very helpful staff particularly on the Events desk who helped us make lots of great reservations for lunch and dinners during our stay.

Limited storage in rooms - we could have done with some more drawer space for storing clothes. WIFI was extremely slow late afternoon when everyone returned from the ski slopes. Breakfast buffet needs another coffee machine as there were long queues at peak times.

Great place to spend your ski vacation.

Beautiful facility and very nice helpful and friendly staff. Really recommend to go for the half board plan or all inclusive.

The cost of extras in the hotel is quite high :( better to take all included in the plan.

Some people from personnel were hospitable. The drivers to ski lifts helpful and nice.

Rundown corridors, and elevators. Not a big variety of food at bar, So if you don't want to spend 60 pp on buffet you need to go out. Water temp at spa a bit cold. Woke up some nights due to noise, very bad insulation.

very nice ski resort

spa facilities are great, one of the best spa facilities ive seen.. ski rental facility is top notch, and the staff over there are very friendly and helpful.

the WiFi is horrible, you need to sign in every 15 min, elevators are really inconvenient, too small, too slow , and u can not go to to the 1st floor without taking 2 elevators. buffet is nice but way overpriced.

Fabulous. Highly recommended. Beautiful resort in beautiful location.

A wonderful resort. Friendly staff going the extra mile to make your stay special. Incredible views. Fabulous spa and pool. Regular shuttle into town. Buzzy lounge with comfy seating. Great entertainment. Outside seating with fires in the evening. Expansive buffet in larger restaurant, fabulous service in other restaurants.

Lifts too small and slow! Kids club taking over the pool changing rooms at certain times of day - more consideration could be given to other guests.

Room for improvement but a very enjoyable stay overall

The hotel facilities are great and everywhere is exceptionally clean. Loved the pool which is much bigger than expected and perfect at the end of a hard day skiing. The spa was also very nice - we didn't have any treatments but the space itself is lovely to relax in. The ski hire shop in the hotel was excellent and reasonably priced - highly recommend using this for ease. The shuttle to the cable car was very welcome at the start and end of the day (but see below for negatives!)

Our hotel room was so hot, and the windows only open a small amount. We kept it open all day/night but it didn't make much difference and often the cleaners would close the window which was frustrating. The food was disappointing, plenty of choice so something for everyone and some things were good, but the quality on offer at the buffet was below what I would expect for a 5-star hotel, also everything was always quite cold. We also had breakfast in the Gou restaurant on our first morning but the service was so slow we chose to eat in the buffet for the rest of our stay. The 'magic carpet' ski lift from the hotel to the closest ski run was not working during our stay, which meant the hotel was not "ski out" as advertised. After 8pm, the shuttle service costs to/from the village costs 5 EUR per person which seems quite expensive for a 2-3min journey. We decided to walk back one evening, but it was a gruelling 15-minute steep uphill walk so bear that in mind if you're venturing out for dinner!

Helpful and kind staff and good spa

Very helpful and service minded staff. Good shuttle service, and helpful drivers.

There is a lot of "song and dance" entertainment with loud music in the main bar. This means there is actually no place to sit and relax in a more quiet environment. I suggest that the "entertainment" is moved into the "Theatre Area" (which was empty and not used). And then the main bar could be with a bit more quiet atmosphere around the fire. And the music and entertainment, and children activities done in the other room.

I would love to come again

the hotel is new. full of in house activities and music. in addition to evening theater. staff were very friendly. the manage Emmy was very welcoming and helpful. anything you need for ski gear and training is available.

recommend to enhance the dishes in the GOU restaurant. more items for room service as it was very limited and not items were available. extend the hours for the shuttle as it ends at 5:30pm and if you want to go to the center for evening dinner you would have to take a 20 euro taxi each way.

very pleasant stay and would return again

lovely modern and comfortable hotel that is well located. Ski hire on site and efficient shuttle service to ski lifts. friendly staff.

no hotel shuttle service to and from cervinia village in evenings. this would have been fine if you could get a taxi but the hotel couldn't even order one for us as limited taxi service in the area. therefore making it an obvious, basic service that should be provided by the Valtur. many other hotels offered this.
